Each lamp is a clear crystal sphere with a space scene suspended inside it. The wooden base lights it from below with a warm LED glow, so the scene seems to hang in the middle of the glass.

How it's made

The scene isn't printed on the surface. A laser marks thousands of tiny points inside the crystal, and together they form the 3D image. When the base lights up, each point catches the light, which is why the scene glows while the glass around it stays clear.
