These glasses are ISO 12312-2:2015 and CE certified, the safety standard that actually matters for looking straight at the sun. The filters block harmful ultraviolet and infrared rays and cut visible light down to a safe level.
The 2027 eclipse will pass over southern Spain, North Africa, and the Middle East, with partial views across most of Europe. Totality lasts over six minutes in some areas, making it one of the longest this century.
Sunglasses don't work for this. Not even close. If you plan to watch, you need certified eclipse glasses, and it's better to have them before everyone else starts looking for a pair.
